Volunteer Assistance Requested
Anyone interested in volunteering to help keep the library open its normal business hours is encouraged to email the library or call (607)254-2165.
Young persons can often receive credit for this volunteer service for High School or Scouting requirements.
Volunteerism is also a good way to build a resume without a long term commitment.
People returning to work after a long break often find volunteering a great way to enhance their rusty computer skills and build their resume.
All Adelson Library volunteers receive Adelson Library borrowing privileges as well as the privilege to borrow books from some other Cornell University Libraries. After fulfilling a specific service requirement a complimentary membership to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology will be given. Volunteers are also invitated to most staff functions.
