Each week we will have a new bird identification quiz, with
a new quiz starting each Monday.
In addition to the fame that is sure to follow, each week's winner will receive a stuffed toy Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. The rules are simple and the fun is free! One answer per day, but you can submit a new answer each day.

These are 4 of the species which the Lab is often asked to identify.
Bird 1: The bird we are most often asked to identify this time of year.
Bird 2 : We have received a couple of reports recently of this bird at a hummingbird feeder.
Bird 3 : An introduced game bird, it shows up in a wide range of locations, including backyards.
Bird 4 : Last week we received two reports of this species in Houston, Texas area backyards.
