Dr. John Fitzpatrick on the Martha Stewart Show

On January 8, Dr. John Fitzpatrick, director of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, was featured on the Martha Stewart Show. Dr. Fitzpatrick provided tips for feeding birds including information on selecting the right kind of feed and feeders to use for attracting birds to your yard.

Martha and Dr. Fitzpatrick also discussed this year's Great Backyard Bird Count.
The Great Backyard Bird Count is scheduled for February 15-18 and anyone can participate in this free, fun event which helps scientists collect data about where the birds are in mid-winter.
