This month we'll head south, with images from Brazil.
I have been a birder since 1991 and a photographer since 1999. Birding, photography, and research have taken me to Venezuela, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Indonesia. My photographs have appeared in Living Bird and Birder's World, as well as other books and magazines. I am currently at UCLA, studying birds in pursuit of my Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology. As a biologist, I try to capture unique aspects of bird behavior and ecology in my photographs whenever possible.
