A.
J. Montgomery has been a resident of western Washington State for the
past 14 years and has had a passion for photography since childhood. He
is a computer systems engineer and semiprofessional photographer. For
the most part, his photography is a passion, and he even sometimes
earns a buck or two! He shoots with a Canon 20D digital SLR and various
Canon EF L series lenses. A. J. has taken to bird photography because
of the abundant opportunities in his area. He also travels frequently,
making it a point to photograph birds and wildlife while abroad.
In
an effort to provide opportunities for himself and others to share and
learn in the art of photography, A. J. founded a regional online
photography group called NWPhotographers.net.
