2007 Joint Conference of the Raptor Research Foundation and the Hawk Migration Association of North America.
The
conference will include a special symposium on the conservation concerns
regarding the American Kestrel. One of the most beautiful raptors in the word, the American Kestrel is undergoing a significant population decline. Possible causes that will be discussed at the symposium include loss of open and semi-open habitat and West Nile Virus.

Other scientific and general
interest talks focused on raptors and raptor biology will be offered at the event.
Special sections
on hawk migration and identification also are being planned.
