ELP’s home base and technical center is Cornell University; however, all our funding, including the support for our permanent researchers comes from outside institutions and individuals. These days, as nongovernmental organizations are hard-pressed, ELP relies increasingly on private contributions.

If you are interested in ‘ELPing out, here’s how you do it:

In order to receive tax-deductible status, and for the donation to find its way to the Elephant Listening Project, please follow these guidelines.

Make the check payable to Cornell University, and then accompany it with a letter that uses this exact wording: "This is a gift to be made to the Cornell University’s Lab of Ornithology for The Elephant Listening Project's research."

Send to:
The Elephant Listening Project, Attn: Liz Rowland
Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology
159 Sapsucker Woods Road
Ithaca, New York, 14850

Thank you!
