SPRING 2005/VOLUME 19, NUMBER 2 Volunteer SpotlightAngie Jackmin and Faye Studin help send bird knowledge around the world
Faye Studin (left) and Angie Jackmin (right) get ready to ship out a Handbook of Bird Biology, one of many they have sent to bird enthusiasts around the world. Photo by Jennifer Smith Angie Jackmin and Faye Studin are wonderful volunteers who have been a driving force behind our mailing efforts for the Home Study Course and Handbook of Bird Biology for the past several months. They have graciously sacrificed many long afternoons by coming in to help assemble boxes and package materials for shipment to locations all over the world. Their efforts have resulted in more than 1,000 packages being mailed to eager seekers of avian knowledge. Please join us in extending an ostrich-sized thank you to Angie and Faye! —Terry Mingle and Jason A. Mobley
