Professional Development for Educators

Cornell Lab of Ornithology staff can provide educators with professional development opportunities!

Washington University PD
University City teachers received training in the BirdSleuth curriculum in a district workshop organized by math and science coordinator Nikki Davenport. Educators Kathleen Evans, left, and Jan Oberkramer, right, joined in the observations. Photo by Mary Butkus.

We welcome the opportunity to share BirdSleuth with teachers.  We can customize a workshop or series of workshops for your audience, on a variety of topics relating to inquiry, citizen science, and birds!

We've developed a number of exciting partnerships over the last year,

for example, see an article that Bridget Stutchbury wrote on a partnership with Toronto schools through her Birds in the City program, or this press release on BirdSleuth professional development

in St. Louis, Missouri.
