A message from the new Project Assistant...

by jms327 last modified 2008-05-20 16:55

Hello there, citizen scientists! My name is Gabrielle Montanez and yesterday was my first day as the new project assistant with BirdSleuth!

It's been a crazy few days, to be sure. On Sunday, I graduated from Ithaca College with a B.A. in (biological) anthropology and (feature) writing. I fell in love with inquiry and the scientific process in school, where I worked on several research projects investigating questions of human evolution, and my journalism experience helped me grow passionate about public education.

I'm really excited to be here and working with Jennifer and each of you to really make the most out of what BirdSleuth has to offer. Please, don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments you may have—from backyard birding questions to thoughts you may have on how we can improve our modules, I'd love to hear from you!

Here's how you can reach me:
