Keep those submissions coming!
Congratulations, BirdSleuth Students! You actually overwhelmed a Cornell server!
BirdSleuth submissions peaked at the end of March, causing over-flowing mailboxes at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology! Some teachers and students may have received error messages, but rest assured, ALL materials were received, and there is no need to re-submit.
Jennifer Schaus, BirdSleuth project leader, apologized for any confusion and said, "I was away at a convention when submissions were pouring in. I didn't get back in time to fix the problem before error messages began going out. Luckily, we have a back-up in place, and we got everyone's submissions!"
BirdSleuth staff are excited about the number of submissions, and the fact that a number of classrooms are sending student work for the first time. Students are encouraged to send in their work; we are anxious to share the cool experiments and observation studies being done around the country with BirdSleuth! We collect submissions year-round. Let's overwhelm the mailboxes again!
You can view student work and easily submit on the student publications webpage.
