Student Research

See what other BirdSleuth classes are doing, and send us your students' work!

We accept submissions throughout the year for our publications:

Keep in mind that we keep materials that are sent to us, so your student's report or art might show up in a future webzine, in Classroom BirdScope, on our website or in our promotional materials. For example, if you send us the report in November, it might make it into the winter webzine or next September's Classroom BirdScopeor even our next brochure!

Need help with student inquiry? We've created an online module, Investigating Evidence, to help! This complete, free module includes lesson plans, journal pages, and online resources that will help your students ask scientific questions, craft and test hypotheses, collect and organize data, draw meaningful conclusions, and PUBLISH their work! It will take you step-by-step through the process!
