Join us in Florida, and become a BirdSleuth Ambassador!

Great bird habitat!

BirdSleuth Ambassadors are educators who share Cornell Lab resources with teachers at conferences, within their districts, and through the organizations they represent.  Would you like to join us?

This spring, we're offering this special training that will support educators who would like to learn more about our resources and are interested in sharing them with others. It's a unique opportunity to get fun and in-depth training from Cornell Lab educators.

Adult BirderThis workshop is perfect for educators who are interested in teacher professional development focused on birds and nature.  We especially welcome environmental educators from parks, science centers, nature centers, zoos, and Audubon centers; school district personnel; science coordinators and lead teachers! For more information about the Ambassador program, please visit this page

Participants will receive:

  • BirdSleuth curriculum kits
  • All meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner)
  • Tours, lectures, hands-on activities, many with handouts and printed resources provided

Registration:

Thanks to generous sponsorship and grants, we only require a registration fee of $30. We do ask that all trained Ambassadors "pass it forward" by sharing BirdSleuth with other teachers/educators (at a conference, workshop, or training) within a year of being trained.  Registration is strictly limited and open to educators who are able to train teachers or other educators. (Please note: if you are an educator/teacher who primarily works with K-12 students, our teacher workshop is likely a better choice for you!)

Please click here to register online.

Cancellations:  You will receive a half refund until February 1, 2012. No refunds will be issued after February 1.
