Nesting on the rooftop

Our latest manuscript on gull biology was just published in a special issue of Waterbirds. The research documents herring gulls nesting on rooftops in Portland, Maine and compares reproductive parameters of the ‘city’ gulls with birds nesting in the context of a more traditional nesting colony on Appledore Island, Maine.
