What's in the download?
The Raven Pro download is a demo version of the full Raven Pro product. To enable all of the features of the downloaded Raven Pro, you must purchase a license or upgrade your license from an existing Raven 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2 license. This is a free upgrade. If you already have Raven 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2 installed, then once you install and launch Raven Pro 1.3, Raven Pro should detect the existing installation and upgrade automatically. If the upgrade does not happen automatically, then choose the "Upgrade From Prior Release" menu item on the Help menu. For more information on upgrading or registering a license, please see the readme included with your Raven Pro installation.
How do I download Raven Pro?
To download Raven Pro, choose an option from the Download page based on your operating system (Windows or Mac OS X) and download speed. If you have a high-speed connection, then download the entire Raven Pro in a single installer. If you do not have a high-speed connection, then you have the option of downloading Raven Pro in three separate installers, consisting of software, documentation, and example sounds, each of which is smaller than the single installer. If you choose to download the entire product in one installer, then there is no need to download the separated installers. If you use the separated installers, you do not have to use all of them. If you only want the software and documentation, then you can just download them without downloading the examples.
Where can I get more information about registering my Raven Pro license?
Specific instructions for registering your Raven Pro 1.3 license and upgrading your Raven 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2 license are provided in the Raven Pro readme file provided in the Raven Pro installers. The readme is a short introduction to Raven Pro which should be read as part of the installation process. It is not a substitute for the Raven Pro User's Manual, which includes in-depth descriptions of the use of Raven Pro once it is installed and registered. For your convenience, an updated copy of the readme file is also provided here.
