Get to know your neighborhood birds, share your observations and help the Cornell Lab of Ornithology by gathering data to better understand and conserve birds. Anyone can participate no matter what your level of experience with birds. It is easy, fun, and it helps!

Please download a data form or request a Celebrate Urban Birds! kit  by registering for the project or emailing urbanbirds@cornell.edu. It's free! We've pilot tested the data form with participants of all ages and walks of life. It's easy...Really! Simply spend ten minutes watching birds in your neighborhood, check off 15 species of birds, and send us your data. Your observations can make a difference!
