164. Mugil Paramasivam, CA

This photo of a Crow challenging a Kite was taken in India when I visited there this Summer. The Kite stumbled into the territory of the Crows for food but was chased and attacked by the local Crows there. The Kite attacked the Crows back. However, I was amazed when one of the Crows took its stand and challenged back. It was a spectacular scene to watch. The mobbing continued for several minutes and in the end the Kite decided to leave the Crow territory.
