While on vacation in California, we visited a beach north of San Francisco.  The seagulls were completely surrounding us.  My daughter had some leftover french fries in her bag.  She took one out and held it in the air and the gulls went nuts.  They were repeatedly catching them in the air and then taking them right from my daugther's hand.  She had so much fun, and we were so entertained, that we brought our leftovers to another beach the next day; hence the second video entry.  Clearly two days of close encounters with the bird kind!
