Arts and Nature Workshop

We are looking for  Latino youth who are interested in the arts to participate in a workshop at the Cornell Lab focused on the connection between the arts, nature, and conservation. Selected youth will receive scholarships to travel and attend the workshop for free. Underserved youth are especially encouraged to apply. The workshop will be bilingual (Spanish/English).

• Learn directly from top science illustrators and community artists from around the world

• Explore career paths in conservation for youth with an interest in the arts

• Learn how you can make a difference by mobilizing communities through the arts

• See and learn from original art by Louis Agassiz Fuertes, Charlie Harper, and Beryline hummingbirdmany others

• Explore how visual, fiber, and performing arts are used in promoting conservation messages

• Meet people who have made a career out of their love for the arts

• Learn about opportunities to be an intern at the Cornell Lab from home
