Prizes include Kaytee bird feeders, BirdSleuth Mini-Kits, nest boxes, sound CDs, sound guides, books (Nests: Fifty Nests and the Birds that built them by Sharon Beals), posters, and much more. The first 50 entrants will receive a copy of our "Silhouette" poster and selected images and videos will be posted on the Celebrate Urban Birds website.

Bird Sleuth 1

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology Education Department is donating a special kit  which includes both Discover Birds and DIscover Bird Diversity  activity plans, one set of focus cards, one dvd, and a free copy of Classroom BirdScope.  

Prizes include the following special prize: 

Nests book by Sharon BealsNests: Fifty Nests and the birds that built them, by Sharon Beals.  Chronicle Books. 2011, "Now, Sharon Beals allows us to see the beauty and splendor of nests anew, through her remarkable photographs.  Her lens marries art, history, ornithology, a genetic legacy stretching back tens of millions of years, and our fundamental wonder at the exquisite, instinctive architecture of that which is a bird's nest.  Once more, we gasp.   NestWatch, another citizen science project at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has donated copies of their beautiful Nests poster illustrated by Pedro Fernandes
