Maine Audubon Wildlife Road Watch

Maine volunteer-based wildlife observation project where people register roadkill observations using a form and map based approach

Maine Audubon Wildlife Road Watch

This project was designed and is operated by Maine Audubon to complement the parent site in California (California Roadkill Observation System). Audubon staff train volunteers to survey transect roads and to conduct opportunistic observations of live and dead animals. This is the largest systematic, cross-taxa wildlife observation system in Maine, or New England. More information on this project can be found at: Maine Audubon Wildlife Road Watch
