Project YardMap - Centerville Business Park

An independent multi-media Citizen Science project, in cooperation with Cornell Ornithology Lab, focused on building the next level of micro-ecosystem information integration utilizing info tech to log bird, angling, and habitat info at a business park in Centerville VA. Formats and partners include Cornell Ornithology lab's YardMap, FeederWatch, Urban Birds, NestWatch, Hawk Migration Association of North America's HawkWatch survey routes to include a 10 mile radius in each direction of business park, Fish Log, eBird, Virginia Habitat@Home, and the American Kestrel Partnership. Activities include Feeder station and nestbox installations, native plantings, habitat info integration and enhancements, and most recently, acting Nestbox Monitor for Manassas National Battlefield Park Barn Owl and American Kestrel Nestbox Network.
