The Toolkit is an adaptive and evolving resource, which will grow as this community grows.

As a starting point, we offer thoughts from the Citizen Science Toolkit Conference. The guided discussions of five working groups resulted in white paper reports, which now form the core of the Toolkit... distilled into key points, ideas, and resources.

Given the diverse projects represented at the conference, the contents of the Toolkit represent a range of approaches to engaging scientists and volunteers. As such, these ideas may advance the field both through practical program support and through philosophical debate. And although ideas are broad, they are not (yet!) comprehensive. We look forward to incorporating your thoughts and perspectives when our discussion forum comes online.
