The Lonely Bird Rappers
By Allyson N and Liz S
St. Vincent de Paul School
Mrs. Nazzaro's 3rd grade
Here is a song by two lonely bird rappers
So listen up you little snappers
Because Allyson, Liz, and 3N too
Know all about birds and they'll tell you.
There once was a parrot
As bright as a carrot
And his friend the blue jay
Had a lot to say.
The lovely little flicker
Will make you eat a snicker
And the mourning dove
Is easy to love.
And watch out for the finch
He doesn't really pinch
If in the house you see a sparrow
Make sure its nest is not too narrow.
If you ever met a crow
He could swoop down very low
Please don't confuse the bald eagle
By pretending you're a seagull.
Oh how beautiful is a hawk
Oh how dreadful is its squawk
If you see a silly goose
Make sure he's not on the loose.
All this information we had to say
Because it was the only way
Now don't you see?
You are a master of ORNITHOLOGY!
