American Crow, American Crow, caw, caw, caw.
It sounds like hes singing la, la, la.
Brown-headed, Brown-headed Cowbird.
She lays 4 to 5 white eggs, one at a time
In the nest of other song-birds.
What bird makes holes in wood?
Yep! You guessed it!
Woodpecker, woodpecker drills them good.
Most woodpeckers are about 9 inches.
Thats a lot bigger than most finches,
Next, Ill talk a little bit about sparrows.
I bet all their beaks are sharp as arrows.
Sparrows come in all different colors and sizes.
They fly near the woods as the sun rises.
This has been my song about different birds.
To hear it people will be coming in herds.

Blue Jays are known
For their curiosity.
They attack pets,
And appear mean.
You can tell Blue Jays
From the others.
Because blue, white and black,
Are their colors.
Jays store nuts
Where you cant see,
Underneath very
Large oak trees.
Jays have young,
Which are called a clutch,
Three to six babies,
Oh! What a bunch.
Worms and ants,
Moths and mice.
Thats enough to keep the babies happy and
Suffice.
They rule the neighborhood.
They dominate the backyard.
Cats and dogs have to watch,
They must keep on their guard.
The Blue Jay is a trusty friend
And one I must defend.
For my friend the Blue Jay,
Eats the bugs, and keeps them away,
I can play all day!!!
