How to Find Us

From Cornell University, take Warren Road north from Forest Home. Turn right at the four-way stop onto Hanshaw Road. Continue 0.8 miles west on Hanshaw Road, turn left on Sapsucker Woods Road. Travel north on Sapsucker Wood Road for 0.8 miles.

Public transportation between Cornell University and the museum is available via TCAT Bus #31.

From downtown Ithaca and points south and west, take Route 13 north out of Ithaca. You will go up the hill (take the opportunity to get a nice view of Cayuga Lake and Ithaca), go under an overpass and pass the traffic light at Warren Road. Turn right on Sapsucker Woods Road.

From the southeast, exit I-81 at Whitney Point (Exit 8) and take Route 79 to Richford. At the four-way stop, take a right onto Route 38 and head north to Dryden (11.5 miles). At the traffic light in Dryden, take a left onto Route 13. From Dryden you will go west for 8.5 miles to Sapsucker Woods Road. It is the first road on the left, once you cross the runway of the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport. This road turns into Sapsucker Woods Road.

From the northeast , exit I-81 at Homer (Exit 12), take Route 281 south to Cortland where it will join Route 13 (keep going straight; no turns necessary). Continue south on 13 for 8 miles to Dryden. Continue to follow Route 13 (take a right at the light at downtown). From Dryden you will go west for 8.5 miles to Sapsucker Woods Road. It is the first road on the left, once you cross the runway of the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport.
