Research Overview

The Information Science Department has two research projects funded by the National Science Foundation. Both of these projects strive to provide greater access to tools, analysis, and content. Our underlying goal is to expand the use of high performance computing, information access, and data analysis and visualization to a broad spectrum of users including biologists, conservation agencies, land planners, students of all ages, and millions of people who watch and appreciate wild birds.
