Sights and Sounds of America's Birds

In an effort to capture video and sound recordings of all of America's birds, the Macaulay Library is undertaking an ambitious effort.

Through special expeditions designed to capture endangered species on audio and video, the Library will eventually preserve the behavior of each and every North American Bird species for research and conservation.

In addition to enhancing the Library's breadth and depth, these additions to the collection will be made available to researchers, teachers and students through the Internet.
