We continue to need funding to develop our Nest Box Cams. If you are interested in sponsoring the cams for 2006 and beyond, please review the sponsor levels below. Thanks for your interest!


The National Science Foundation The Birdhouse Network was originally funded by the National Science Foundation. Other funding comes from grants, gifts, sponsors and very importantly, participant fees.

Nature's Views, makers of fine wildlife viewing cameras. A portion of the proceeds from Natures Views help support the Nest Box Cams.

Sponsor Levels for The Birdhouse Network

Introductory Sponsor - $500

Includes

  • A group membership to The Birdhouse Network (TBN)

  • Your company's hyper-linked logo on the TBN Sponsor page.

  • Annual subscription to BirdScope, the quarterly newsletter of Lab research findings, events, and more.

  • Recognition of your sponsorship in Inside the Birdhouse, TBN's semiannual newsletter.


Adopt- a Nest Box Sponsor - $1,000

Includes

  • All of the above.

  • Your company's hyper-linked logo on the archival web page of the specific nest box cam you adopt.

  • Your company name listed on the Lab's Sponsor Honor Roll highlighting your company's support of the Lab's education, research, and conservation mission.  The Sponsor Honor Roll is displayed on the Lab's Web site with a link to your company home page. The Sponsor Honor Roll is also printed in each issue of BirdScope and appears annually in Living Bird, the Lab's award-winning magazine focused on birds and birding. BirdScope is mailed to 48,000 people across North America, and Living Bird is mailed to all 32,000 Lab members. Together, these venues provide strong international recognition of your company's commitment to environmental conservation.

Classroom Cam Sponsor- $2,500

  • Right to use the Lab Sponsor logo on your company Web site, to  show your company's environmental support while providing a link to the Lab's web site of extensive bird-related resources.

  • Company name included on the Lab Sponsor Honor Roll in our Morgens  Observatory visited by some 75,000 annual visitors from all over the world.

  • Company logo included on the Lab's Web-based Sponsor Honor Roll.

  • Consultations with Lab staff on new product development.


Nest Box Cam Sponsor - $5,000

Includes

  • All of the above.

  • Your company's hyper-linked logo on the Nest Box Cam home page, which receives nearly 20 million hits per year by over 200,000 individuals.

  • Permission to display live images from Nest Box Cam  on your company's web page.

  • Your company's Web sponsor banner prominently displayed and linked  on  the Lab Sponsor Honor Roll, and including your company's tagline.

  • One complimentary registration in the Lab's newly revised Home Study Course in Bird Biology for one of your company employees.

  • Complimentary annual memberships in the Cornell Lab of Ornithology for three of your company's employees.


TBN-Lab Sponsor - $10,000

Includes

  • All of the above.

  • Your company's Web sponsor banner prominently displayed and linked on the Lab's home page. Rotating banner features sponsor companies for an equal time period. The Lab's home page receives 1-2 million hits per week and 15,000-20,000 unique visitors.

  • A TBN staff person will be assigned as a liaison to your company to assist you as needs arise and to interact between your company and the Lab.

  • A TBN Lab staff member will serve as host during your company's visit to the Lab.

  • Complimentary annual memberships in the Cornell Lab of Ornithology for five of your company's employees.
