Great photos!!! We here in Florida have many nests. My backporch tally of their successful getting a fish is somewhere between 8 to 12 dives into the water. We watch and have seen eagles trying to steal their fish. Both lose as the fish drops into the water.

Watching this nest cam and enjoying the archive pictures...learning more about these interesting birds has been a real delight. Thanks so much for your hard work and all you do to make this site so fascinating.

I am intrigued with the idea of these babies taking the leap off the high nest. Any prediction as to when they will fly and will they ever return to this nest?

Shouldn't the third egg have hatched by now if it was going to?

Hoping for a camera fix before the eggs hatch! I'm seeing two green bands across the image. Thanks.

Finally had some time to go through the entire archive and pictures and learned so much. Thanks again to all who make this possible.

I would like to know more about the surroundings of the nest if possible. Is it elevated? Is it close to the lake? Are the natural predators of the osprey in this area? Any more information would be appreciated. Thanks so much for this great webcam!

I only see 2 eggs clearly, but both parents are looking at the nest, so I think there must be a hatchling now.

What color are the eggs? Are they speckled with brown?

This bird is tucking his head. He wants to camouflage his body from predaters

nothing is showing- just a black screen. Is there anything particular going on that I am not catching?

Hienoa, että saamme katsoa lintuja toiselta puolelta maapalloa.
