Sorry for intruding, but new to BB watching we have been privileged to have a pair nest in our box, lay eggs, and hatch... we saw babes heads appear 7/11/07, and we were gone for the day yesterday, and today they are gone. When they fledge... how, when, where do they go immediately from the nesting box... thanks so much... we are beside ourselves that something may have happened... do they simply fly away? Will they be back? What source would help us to grow in our appreciation of their beauty... I have not seen a BB in 55 years, and I put a box up this Spring, and they came.
