Hole in bottom

Maybe it has become unacceptable because there is now a sizable hole in the bottom. There is probably a good chance any eggs would drop thru.

You are looking at the metal bracket, which was exposed (pecked away) by the Acorn woodpecker. There is no hole in the bottom of the box. If we get lucky enough for eggs, rest assured they will not fall thru the bottom.

notice that GAPING hole till today. I guess the light had to be just right. It's a shame that it's so big. Someone said the woodpeckers did that a while back.
