This family of Carolina Chickadees was photographed by a nestbox camera in South Carolina. These chicks are almost ready to fledge.


These Black-capped Chickadees are growing in their pin feathers. They are approximately 10 days old.

Laurie Graham sent us this photo of Chestnut-backed Chickadee eggs from California.


These two Chestnut-backed Chickadees were photographed four days before they fledged.  Laurie Graham reports having provided timothy hay and guinea pig fur as nesting material.
