About the forum
For years Project FeederWatch participants have been counting feeder
birds for science, and along the way they have created a
community that has taken on a life of its own--where awareness,
appreciation, and passion for the activity that goes on outside of their
windows is at the heart of every discussion. In honor of their devotion
and in gratitude for their support, we are proud to provide an online home
for the citizens behind the science that make Project FeederWatch
possible.
As a registered Project FeederWatch participant, you are invited to share your questions, suggestions, experiences, and photos of the birds at your feeders with other project participants. Please note, photos shared within the forum are for forum use only and will not be collected by Project FeederWatch. If you wish to submit photos to Project FeederWatch, please see our Tips for submitting photos page.

Usernames can only contain characters (a-z) and numbers (1-9). Punctuation marks, symbols, underscores, and spaces will not work. Passwords require at least four characters.
Frequently Asked Questions
We've added a “Forum FAQ” section within the forum to help you get started. You may find answers to some of your questions there. As questions are frequently asked, we will add to this list, but if your question is not addressed, start a new topic! Any forum members who know the answer can post responses. Project FeederWatch staff monitor the forum content as much as possible but may not have time to read every post. If a question comes up that forum members cannot answer, please contact project staff directly.
