Instructions for Accessing Data Entry
To Begin Data Entry
To enter Data Entry, you must be registered for the current season and have an active ID number. If you have not registered and would like to participate, join or renew now to begin the registration process.
Registered participants
To access Data Entry, go to www.feederwatch.org and click the "Data Entry" tab.
To access the Data Entry login page, click on the "Data Entry" tab at the top of the FeederWatch home page.
Next, scroll down to the box at the bottom of the Data Entry login page and follow the instructions for new and returning users.
If you are new to Data Entry and have never created a login name or password for this or any other Cornell Lab of Ornithology project before, follow these instructions.
If you are new to Data Entry, click the link in the right-hand box at the bottom of the login page to create a login name and password.
Click the link in the box on the login page where it says "New Participants."
Choose, enter, and make note of a case-sensitive login name and password.
Enter and confirm your email address and press "submit" at the bottom of the page, then enter your contact information on the following page. The information entered here is used on supplemental data forms and data-related correspondence.
U.S. participants, enter your ID number in the top box. Canadian participants, enter your ID number in the bottom box.
ID number
Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to enter your FeederWatch ID number in the appropriate box. You will only need to enter your ID number the first time you login each year.
