The straight edge to the end of
the tail, the proportionally small head, and the hooded rather than capped appearance
helps to identify these Sharp-shinned Hawks. Although size often overlaps between Sharpies
and Cooper's Hawks, extremes in size can sometimes provide an additional identification
clue. |
