Watch online videos of project leader David Bonter's appearance on the Martha Stewart Show in October 2007. David appeared in two segments on the show, one about Project FeederWatch and one about bird feeding.

In the first segment David and Martha discuss the benefits of counting birds at your feeders for Project FeederWatch. They encourage children and adults of all ages to join the efforts of scientists in tracking bird migration patterns in winter, simply by keeping a tally of which birds show up at your feeders. Learn how easy it is to identify the birds in your yard, using the Research Kit provided when you sign up to become a FeederWatch participant.

In the second segment, David talks about how to use birdseed to attract specific birds to your yard and demonstrates which feeders are best for easy cleaning and keeping food dry. Learn how Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Eurasian Collared-Doves, and Evening Grosbeaks are benefiting from the information submitted to scientists by FeederWatchers all over North America.
