Through the area of most intensive FeederWatch coverage (the region of continuous non-white on the maps) White-throated Sparrows appeared in normal numbers (gray) in 2000-2001, but with higher than normal abundance (blue) in a relatively small area along the Atlantic coast from Massachusetts south to New Jersey.
