All new Project FeederWatch participants receive a research kit in the mail. Renewing participants can choose not to receive a kit. Each year we start shipping kits in October. Participants have the option of submitting their bird counts electronically, using our secure web site, or through the mail, using paper data forms. When you sign-up, you choose the type of kit that you would like to receive, based on how you would like to submit data.

If you sign up or renew online: Note that you will automatically be sent a kit with no paper forms unless you check the box to request paper forms or check the box to request no kit (renewals only).
