Directions to Lab

From Ithaca:
Take Route 13 north. Turn right at the light onto Warren Road. At the four-way stop, turn left onto Hanshaw. Continue 0.8 miles, turn left on Sapsucker Woods Road, follow to the end. Follow signs to the visitor parking area.

From Syracuse:
Take Route 81 south to exit 12, follow Route 281 south to Route 13 south. Stay on Route 13 south through Dryden, following signs to Ithaca. From NYSEG (on your left) continue on Route 13, 1.3 miles to street light. Turn left onto Hanshaw Rd., follow to the stop sign, turn right, continuing on Hanshaw. Follow Hanshaw past SPCA & Ludgate Farms. Turn right onto Sapsucker Woods Road, follow to the end. Follow signs to the visitor parking area.

From Cornell University:
Take Warren Road north from Forest Home. Turn right at the four-way stop onto Hanshaw Road. Continue 0.8 miles, turn left onto Sapsucker Woods Road, follow to the end. Follow signs to the visitor parking area.

Trails are open 365 days a year.

No dogs or bikes on trails, please.

The Visitors' Center is closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. On Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and December 26-30, the Visitors' Center will be open from 10 A.M. - 4 P.M. Hours may change in response to special events.
