Video Collection Wishlist

The Library's video collection contains a wide variety of bird behaviors, but there are many aspects of the lives of birds that need further coverage. If you have recordings of these species that you would like to donate, please contact us.

We would like to have more video of nesting activities, (e.g. nest-building, incubation, feeding of nestlings), swimming underwater, diving (e.g. prey capture in Osprey, Gannet, Kingfisher), birds of prey hunting and capturing prey.

We are also interested in getting more video of some species that are missing or under-represented species in the Library's video collection, including:

8. Pinyon Jay (Gymnorhinus cyanocephalus)

10. Brown-headed Nuthatch (Sitta pusilla)
11. Eared Quetzal (Euptilotis neoxenus)
12. Aztec Thrush (Ridgwayia pinicola)
13. Saltmarsh Sharp-tailed Sparrow (Ammodramus caudacutus)
14. Scott's Oriole (Icterus parisorum)
15. Varied Bunting (Passerina versicolor)
