Happy Valentine: We Love Birds Launches

There’s a lot to love about birds, and a lot of joy to be had in sharing your delight. To help people get connected, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Cornell Lab have just launched a new online community designed with bird watchers in mind: We Love Birds.

The free site allows members to come together and share thoughts, news, and photos; it also links to our informational resources at All About Birds and the rest of the Cornell Lab; and it connects people with the conservation work of the Natural Resources Defense Council. The site officially launched just this morning, but this is 2010, so of course you can already follow them on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook.

Read more about the launch in the official press release. And Happy Valentine’s Day!

Have you had any/many reports of trouble signing up for We Love Birds? Have tried multiple times with no success. (Firefox 5.0 user)

Yours is the first report I’ve heard of trouble. Thanks for letting us know. You might try a different browser, or if you like, e-mail me a fuller description of the trouble and I’ll pass it along to the appropriate person. I tried to send a question about bird identification software to the We Love Birds site, but got no response.

I’m not sure if my question was actually received.

Can you suggest how I should proceed?
