Montezuma Trip
Enjoy a weekend in nearby Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, featuring field trips led by local birding experts!
On April 18 and 19, we'll be taking an
overnight trip to the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge in Seneca Falls,
NY to view migrating flocks of waterfowl, shorebirds, and other local
birds. To join us on this new-to-the-course excursion, just download

| 7:00 AM | Meet at CLO Parking Lot | 6:00 AM | Early morning birding on the north shore of Seneca Lake |
| 7:15 AM | Depart for Montezuma NWR (Bring a non-perishable bag lunch/drink - TWO if you are staying overnight) | 7:00 AM | Breakfast |
| 12:00 PM | Arrive at Montezuma NWR and have a picnic lunch, followed by birdwatching at Montezuma NWR South (Wildlife Drive, Visitor's Ctr., May's Point) | 8:00 AM | Depart the motel (motel TBA) for Montezuma NWR |

Dinner at a local restaurant (restaurant TBA, casual dress, bring money for your meal) |

| 8:30 AM | Birdwatching at Northern Montezuma Wetlands State Wildlife Management Area (Mucklands, Towpath Road, Audubon Center) | ||
| 8:00 PM | Arrive at the motel (motel TBA) for an overnight stay. | 12:00 PM | Picnic Lunch at the Montezuma NWR Audubon Center, followed by afternoon birdwatching (optional) at Montezuma NWR (Carncross Road and Howland Island) |
