Three NAOC Awards!

Huge congratulations to lab group members for receiving prestigious (and highly competitive!) awards at the North American Ornithological Conference in August 2020!

Senior Christopher Sayers won an American Ornithological Society award for his presentation, “Geographic Variation of Mercury in Breeding Tidal Marsh Sparrows of the Northeastern United States”

Lab alum Facundo Fernandez-Duque won the Wilson Prize from the Wilson Ornithological Society for his presentation, “Does Getting the Worm Help the Breeding Bird? Supplemental Feeding Affects Nestling Growth in some Taxa but not Others”

Lab alum Shailee Shah won an honorable mention from the AOS for her presentation, “Alternative Reproductive Tactics in a Cooperatively Breeding Bird with Low Kin Structure”
