Ben Thomas

Ben Thomas

I work for the  K. Lisa Yang Center for Conservation Bioacoustics as a software developer, building tools that allow researchers to explore the world of sound. My current focus is to help improve the usability of Raven, and introduce new features that will make it an even better analysis tool.

Previously I worked for a medical device startup, where I contributed to and led software and hardware development for a new diagnostic platform. I worked with a team to create software solutions for motion control, temperature control, user interface, and image processing.

When I’m not writing code I spend time riding bicycles, playing guitar, and brewing beer.
