I joined the K. Lisa Yang Center for Conservation Bioacoustics team in January 2017. I’m thrilled to pursue my mission in the field collecting marine wildlife data alongside captain Fred Channell as his first mate and captain-in-training on the Yang Center’s research vessel, the R/V Jaeger. As an avid aviator with my private pilot license it’s exciting to transfer my skills in navigation and weather in such a meaningful way to help carry out the Yang Center’s mission.
