Janelle L. Hanson

I joined the K. Lisa Yang Center for Conservation Bioacoustics in the summer of 2021. My responsibilities consist of supporting the program manager, science and technology directors, as well as Yang Center academics and staff with counsel and guidance on administrative matters.

Prior to joining the Yang Center, I managed The Jewelbox in Ithaca for a couple of years after leaving an 11+ year position with Cornell United Religious Work and the Office of Spirituality and Meaning-Making.

My love for nature and conservation began at an early age and I am so excited to be a part of this community of worldwide researchers.
