I’m a software developer working for the K. Lisa Yang Center for Conservation Bioacoustics. I work with the Raven software team on designing, developing, and improving Raven Workbench, a suite of tools for doing sound analysis for bioacoustic research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, I worked in the software industry doing development work on a web-based application used by businesses for handling sourcing and procurement processes. I primarily worked on UI screens and components but would sometimes do server-side work developing data processors for importing from and exporting to Excel files. One of the last projects I worked on was a smart assistant that allowed the user to control the application using natural language phrases which utilized Google\u2019s DialogFlow framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I’m not working, I spend my time studying music, playing guitar, walking, hiking, biking, and sometimes developing video games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
