Beginner Bird Walk

Join us every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. at the front entrance of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. We will walk the trails of Sapsucker Woods as we look and listen for birds. These 90-minute walks are targeted toward beginners, but all levels are welcome. Binoculars are available for loan. Walks are led by Cayuga Bird Club volunteers. Please dress for the weather. The Visitor Center will be closed for one year to undergo a major renovation. Construction is expected to begin sometime this summer with closing information coming soon. Check our FAQs for more information about the closure. The trails will remain open from dawn to dusk for all to enjoy. Restroom facilities will not be available when the Visitor Center is closed.
