No Choice but to Jaywalk: Improving Salamander Survival – Volunteers Needed!

  • This event has passed.

January 27 at 6:30 pm 7:30 pm

Join us to learn from Cornell graduate student and herpetologist, Stephen Bredin, all about the salamanders of Tompkins County. Stephen is studying the harrowing journey young salamanders take across local roads and needs your help! While adult salamander migrations are well studied and volunteers across the country support their journey across roadways, young salamander crossings are less studied, resulting in more deaths. If you are interested in amphibians or curious about participating in conservation research, please join us! In person event will be held in the Cornell Lab’s Auditorium with a zoom option available for those not able to attend in person. Registration link below.
